Whether you are hosting a small get together, a super bowl bash, or anything in between; a chicken dish is sure to please at your party. Chicken is relatively inexpensive and incredibly versatile; making it a perfect choice for almost any occasion.

I find that for most parties a simple dish that is easy to serve is most desirable, but simple and easy doesn't have to mean boring! No one enjoys party food that is bland or pre-packaged and full of preservatives. Make your party a hit with a home-cooked dish made from real ingredients with real flavor. Even the pickiest of eaters won’t find fault with this simple, no-fuss recipe. This spin on classic chicken wings is quick and easy to throw together yet packs a punch that will put a smile on the face of your guests. You won't find any of these left at the end of the day; in fact, you might want to make extra!

Honey Soy Chicken Wings

50 Chicken Wings

1/2 cup honey
6 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons melted butter (or olive oil)
4 cloves minced Garlic (or Substitute 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder)
1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/2 teaspoon Ground Pepper

1. Rinse wings and pat dry with paper towels, set aside
2. Mix all remaining ingredients in a large bowl or plastic ziploc bag
3. Add chicken wings making sure to coat evenly
4. Place chicken in baking dish with any remaining sauce, bake at 400 degrees for 40 min, turning at 20 minutes.

These wings come out of the oven slightly crispy and perfectly sticky; just the way a wing should be. The recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for large events such as a wedding reception or office barbecue.

This dish has been a hit whenever I've served it and I always have someone asking for the recipe. It's great that it's simple enough for anyone to make, and I also love that it can be easily adapted for chicken thighs, breasts, or legs by simply altering the cooking time appropriately. These wings will complement nearly any dish you pair them with, from potato salad to rice pilaf.

If you've been struggling to find your go-to chicken dish for parties and gatherings; you won’t be disappointed with this one!
