Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 12 minutes Serves: 2
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
Cut sour cream into biscuit mix with a fork then add 7-Up. This will make a very soft dough. Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on a flat surface and gently pat the dough out to about 1 inch thickness. The less you handle the dough the softer these biscuits will be.
Melt ¼ cup butter in a 9 inch square baking pan and set aside. Cut dough into circle shape using the rim of a cup or (for less scraps) just cut into squares. I usually just lay the whole sheet of dough in the pan, on top of the melted butter, and cut it there before I put it into the oven.
Place the cut biscuits in pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
This is what the biscuits look like when I make them in squares.
