Simple Chocolate Truffles
Mouthwatering good with melt in your mouth goodness. Absolutely decadent and liked by all.
In heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring often, warm the sweetened condensed milk to almost simmering. As soon as you see a bubble or two take it off the heat and dump in the chocolate chips.
Stir in the chip until melted and smooth. You might need to turn the heat on low if the chips won’t melt completely. Stir in vanilla.
Chill 2 hours or until firm. Shape into 1 inch balls
Chill for another 20 -30 minutes and roll each ball in the cocoa powder. Shake to remove excess powder and store in an airtight container. You can keep these in the fridge or at room temperature, whichever you prefer.
Notes to remember: The best quality ingredients get the best tasting results. Use the best chocolate you can afford. Good quality chocolate bars can be chopped into pieces to make this recipe.
